TERMS & CONDITIONS

General terms governing access to and use of the IIAM website and digital services

Effective Date: 10 July 2026   |   Last Updated: 10 July 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website cosmetologycourses.in and any webpages, forms, downloadable material or digital features made available through it (collectively, the “Website”).

The Website is operated by  Indian Institute of Aesthetic Medicine, trading as the Indian Institute of Aesthetic Medicine (“IIAM”, “we”, “us” or “our”), having its principal place of business at Ground Floor, Cypress Towers, Udaybaug, Pune – 411001, Maharashtra, India.

By accessing, browsing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the Website. Separate Admissions & Enrolment Terms apply when a person applies for, enrols in or pays for an IIAM programme.

2. Intended audience and website purpose

The Website primarily provides information for dermatologists and other qualified doctors who are evaluating professional education in aesthetic medicine, medical cosmetology, trichology, scalp micropigmentation and related focused clinical subjects.

The Website may include information about the Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine & Medical Cosmetology, the Advanced Course in Scalp Micropigmentation, Focused Clinical Workshops, admissions, faculty, academic articles, events and related institute activities. It is not intended as a patient consultation, emergency service or substitute for individual medical advice.

3. Definitions

  • “Applicant” means a person who submits an application or requests admission to a Programme.
  • “Participant” means an Applicant whose admission has been confirmed by IIAM.
  • “Programme” means a fellowship, course, workshop, module, webinar or other educational offering communicated by IIAM.
  • “Programme Confirmation” means IIAM’s written admission confirmation, fee communication, invoice, programme schedule or other official course-specific communication.
  • “Content” means text, graphics, photographs, videos, documents, course descriptions, branding, forms, downloads and other material appearing on or supplied through the Website.

4. Eligibility to use the Website

You may use the Website only for lawful purposes. If you submit a professional-course enquiry or application, you represent that the information supplied is accurate and that you are legally competent to make the submission. Persons below 18 years of age should not submit course applications.

The availability of general Website information does not mean that every visitor is eligible for every Programme. Course-specific eligibility is determined under the Admissions & Enrolment Terms and the relevant Programme Confirmation.

5. Information and enquiries do not constitute admission

Submitting an enquiry, downloading material, attending a counselling call or receiving preliminary guidance does not reserve a seat, create an admission, guarantee eligibility or oblige IIAM to accept an application. Admission is confirmed only in the manner stated in the Admissions & Enrolment Terms.

6. Accuracy of information

IIAM aims to keep the Website accurate and current. Programme dates, faculty, curriculum sequence, fees, venue, mode, availability and other details may nevertheless change. Website information should be read together with the latest Programme Confirmation issued to an Applicant.

If a material conflict exists between general Website content and a later course-specific written confirmation, the later course-specific confirmation will ordinarily govern that enrolment, subject always to applicable law and any non-excludable rights.

IIAM may correct typographical, pricing, technical or administrative errors. No correction will be used to impose a materially different obligation on a confirmed Participant without appropriate communication and, where required, an available remedy.

7. No inferred recognition, accreditation or affiliation

No recognition, accreditation, affiliation, equivalence, university status, specialist registration or statutory approval should be inferred from a Programme title, Website design, faculty description or use of terms such as “fellowship”, “advanced” or “certificate”. Any such status exists only if it is expressly stated and supported in the relevant Programme information and Programme Confirmation.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its Content are owned by or licensed to IIAM and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. IIAM names, logos, course names, graphics, photographs, educational material and Website copy may not be copied, reproduced, adapted, republished, sold, framed, scraped, translated, distributed or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

You may view and print limited Website material for your personal evaluation of IIAM Programmes. This permission is non-exclusive, revocable and does not transfer ownership or permit use in another course, clinic advertisement, training programme, social-media page or commercial presentation.

9. Permitted and prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • use the Website for an unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful purpose;
  • submit false qualifications, registration details, identities or contact information;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, forms, servers, learning systems or user accounts;
  • introduce malware, automated queries, scraping tools or excessive traffic that may impair the Website;
  • copy, record or redistribute protected educational or audiovisual Content;
  • use IIAM branding in a manner suggesting employment, endorsement, franchise, authorised-centre status or faculty association without written authority;
  • harass staff, faculty, participants, patients, models or other users through Website-enabled communication; or
  • submit patient-identifiable or confidential clinical information through a general Website form unless IIAM has expressly requested it through an approved process.

10. User submissions

Information submitted through the Website must be relevant, lawful and accurate. You retain responsibility for material you submit and confirm that you have the right to share it. IIAM may remove, disregard or securely delete submissions that are unlawful, abusive, irrelevant, technically harmful or contain unsolicited patient-identifiable information.

Submitting an enquiry does not authorise IIAM to publish your name, photograph, testimonial or professional details. Public promotional use should be based on a separate, specific consent.

11. Contact forms and communications

When you contact IIAM, you authorise IIAM to use the information supplied to respond to the enquiry, assess course fit and provide admissions-related guidance. Operational communications may be sent by telephone, email, SMS or WhatsApp using the contact details provided.

Optional promotional communication should be based on a separate choice and may be withdrawn. The handling of personal data is further described in IIAM’s Privacy Policy.

12. Third-party services and links

The Website may use or link to third-party services, including hosting providers, analytics tools, maps, video platforms, payment gateways, social-media platforms, WhatsApp and online-learning systems. Their terms and privacy practices may apply independently.

A link or embedded service does not necessarily amount to endorsement. IIAM is not responsible for independently operated third-party content or services, but this clause does not exclude responsibility for IIAM’s own acts, representations or vendor-management obligations.

13. Website availability and security

IIAM may maintain, update, suspend or modify the Website. Continuous, error-free or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. You are responsible for using a secure device, protecting passwords and maintaining appropriate internet access.

If the Website or a form is unavailable, official enquiries may be sent to [email protected].

14. Professional and medical limitation

Website Content is for general professional-education information and does not constitute patient-specific medical advice, diagnosis, treatment direction, legal advice, regulatory advice or an instruction to perform any procedure. Doctors remain responsible for independent clinical judgement, informed consent, facility standards, applicable law, registration, competence and patient safety.

15. Programme applications and payments

Applications, enrolments, payments, cancellations and refunds are governed by the Admissions & Enrolment Terms, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, together with the relevant Programme Confirmation. These documents should be reviewed before payment.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Website and general Content are provided on an “as available” basis. IIAM does not warrant that general Website Content will meet every visitor’s requirements or that every Programme will be appropriate for every professional background. Specific promises expressly made in a confirmed Programme communication remain subject to their stated terms and applicable law.

17. Limitation of liability

To the extent lawfully permissible, IIAM will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising solely from general Website use, third-party links, a visitor’s reliance on non-specific educational Content, or circumstances outside IIAM’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, a material misleading representation, breach of a mandatory statutory duty, or any other non-excludable right.

18. Indemnity for misuse

You agree to be responsible for direct loss reasonably caused to IIAM by your unlawful use of the Website, infringement of IIAM intellectual property, deliberate submission of false credentials, unauthorised access, malicious technical activity or unlawful disclosure of confidential information. This clause does not make you liable for loss not caused by your act or omission.

19. Suspension or restriction

IIAM may restrict Website access, block abusive communication or suspend a user account where reasonably necessary to protect security, intellectual property, confidential information, staff, faculty, participants, patients or models, or to investigate suspected unlawful activity.

20. Changes to these Terms

IIAM may update these Terms prospectively. The updated version will display a revised “Last Updated” date. Material terms governing an existing paid enrolment will ordinarily be determined by the version accepted at enrolment, together with any lawful and properly communicated course-specific change.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any forum or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, courts at Pune, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from Website use. The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution through IIAM’s grievance contact.

22. Severability, waiver and contact

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to the extent legally possible. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.

For questions about these Terms, contact: Office, at [email protected].
